Before you download

This is an early preview for Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or later). It is not yet notarised by Apple, so macOS may block it when opening. Keep a backup of important documents while trying the preview.

Unzip the download and move 444 Markdown to Applications. Already using an earlier version? Save your work and quit it before replacing the app.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes. Editing, formula and diagram previews, and Word export run on your Mac. Images linked from the web still need an internet connection.

What is included in Word export?

Text, headings, lists and tables stay editable. Formulas and diagrams are included as images, rather than editable Word equations or SmartArt.

Can I use an Intel Mac or Windows?

This release is built for Apple Silicon Macs only. There is no Intel or Windows download at the moment.
